Passion Project | The Medieval times were dark and full of plagues. Plagues that killed thousands of people every month and no one could do anything about it. These plagues were often spread by the rats crawling through sewers and houses, but no one knew.

Rumors twisted the facts and they blamed the sickness on sorcery and witches. These “witches” were often the women that had cat companions, because people believed cats were humans who had been forced to return to this world after committing bad deeds. Little did they know cats were valued for their skill in hunting pests, helping to keep the rodent population in check.

When burned, the women stood tall, unyielding against the terror that sought to silence them.
The reflection in their eyes told the truth a truth overshadowed by fear.

This fear still haunts them to this day.

The sword symbolizes the strength they have within. They will stand tall no matter the obstacles. “We have suffered enough” they said.
